Shuttling of opolipoproteins by high-density lipoproteins.
Nascent HDL particles mature after acquiring apo Cll from HDL. Apo Cll then activates LPL and is subsequently shuttled back to HDL. Apo E, which is then shuttled from HDL to remnant lipoproteins, is used for remnant uptake by hepatic receptors.
